Please read carefully before proceeding with the registration.

General Terms and Conditions

All participants (including speakers) must register and are urged to do so before 31 July 2015, 17:00 EEST, to benefit from the early registration fees. Travel and hotel accommodation costs are not included in the registration fee and are the responsibility of each participant.

The registration fees of a particular conference include for all cases (regular or student participant): conference attendance, lunches and refreshment breaks, conference material and access to online proceedings.
The registration fee of ALGO 2015 covers all the above across ALL participating conferences.

In addition

  • ALGO 2015 and ESA 2015 registration fee includes the welcome reception, attendance to the social event, conference dinner, attendance to the special event and to the special event cocktail, as well as an EATCS membership (see below).
  • ALGOCLOUD 2015 registration fee includes the welcome reception, attendance to the social event, and the conference dinner.
  • IPEC registration fee includes attendance to the special event and to the special event cocktail.

Registration is carried out in three phases:

  1. First, you have to fill in and submit the registration form.

  2. Then, you proceed with the payment (instructions will be sent by email and can be also found below).

  3. Finally, a registration confirmation along with an invoice will be sent by email only when the payment has been received by the Organizing Committee. If the registration fee payment has not been received within 5 working days from the date your registration form is submitted, your registration is considered invalid. In such a case, a registration invalidation email will be sent by the Organizing Committee and the entire registration process has to be repeated.

On-site registration at the specific (on-site) rate is possible during ALGO 2015 either by credit card (VISA or MASTERCARD only), or by paying in cash.

* EATCS

The ALGO 2015 and ESA 2015 registration fees include 30 EUR for one year membership with EATCS (two years for students). The ALGO 2015 Organizing Committee will forward your data to the EATCS for administrative processing. The current benefits of an EATCS membership are listed at the EATCS Website.

** Student status

The student status is reserved to undergraduate, postgraduate (master) and PhD students, only. The student status has to be proved by sending a scanned copy of either a certificate (in English or Greek) issued by the student's Departmental Secretariat, or a letter (in English or Greek) signed by the student's supervisor, to algo2015@ceid.upatras.gr. A scanned copy of a student card/ID is NOT accepted as a proof of student status. The student status proof has to be sent together with the payment. Students must possess the student status at the time ALGO 2015 takes place to be eligible for the student registration fee.

Extra ticket for social event and conference dinner

It is possible to buy additional tickets (upon availability) for the social event and the conference dinner at a price of 70 EUR each. Additional tickets can be bought as part of your registration. Those who wish to buy them on site, they have to reserve them in advance by sending an email to algo2015@ceid.upatras.gr. The deadline for reservations is Wednesday 9 September 2015. Aftet that date, availability of extra tickets for the social event and the conference dinner cannot be guaranteed.

Proceedings

During ALGO 2015, each registered participant will have online access to conference proceedings. In case of post-proceedings (ALGOCLOUD, ALGOSENSORS, WAOA), each registered participant will be granted online access for a four weeks period as soon as the post-proceedings get ready.

Additionally, when registering for a conference with printed proceedings (ESA, ALGOCLOUD, ALGOSENSORS, or WAOA) you may choose to purchase printed proceedings. There is a limited number of free copies, which will be made available on a first-come-first-served basis. After they are exhausted, printed proceedings will be available at Springer's special price. In case of printed post-proceedings (ALGOCLOUD, ALGOSENSORS, WAOA), they will be shipped after the conference (the shipment cost is included in the price).

Payment

Registration fees can be paid by one of the following methods.

  • Credit Card : only VISA or MASTERCARD are accepted. To proceed with the payment, please fill in, sign, scan, and send the credit card authorization form to algo2015@ceid.upatras.gr

  • IMPORTANT REMARK. It is imperative that:

    • The message in the "Reason of payment" must have the specific format: the prefix ALGO followed by your last name, followed by your first name. For instance, the message (reason of payment) for participant John Smith should be: ALGO SMITH JOHN.
    • For international money transfers, please make sure that the transfer is free of charge for the beneficiary. In web-banking, this option is usually called 'OUR'.
    • A copy of the bank transfer should be sent by email to algo2015@ceid.upatras.gr

A registration confirmation, along with an invoice will be sent by email only when the payment has been received by the Organizing Committee. If the registration fee payment has not been received within 5 working days from the date your registration form is submitted, your registration is considered invalid.

Cancellation Policy

All cancellations must be in writing by sending email to the Organizing Committee and are subject to the following conditions:

  • Until 14 August 2015, 17:00 EEST: 50% refund.
  • After 14 August 2015, 17:00 EEST: NO refund.
In case of cancellation, refund (if any) will be processed AFTER ALGO 2015.

Force Majeure

If for reasons beyond the control of the Organizing Committee the ALGO 2015 event is cancelled, the registration fee might be partially refunded (after expenses incurred by ALGO 2015 have been deduced).
